Default FAO unmapped cammed VTS owners!

Hi.

Looking to get some Newman PH3's sometime very soon and am curious as to what sort of timing people are running their unmapped VTS's on with regards to decent power and running on the stock ECU map?

Inlet and Exhaust cam timings if you will please

(Remap/Pred in a few months btw. Just need a temporary setup!)

Cheers.

Set them to standard timing initially, then have them setup by a reputable tuner with rolling road facilities imo. Although I've read the idle can be improved slightly by retarding the exhaust cam a couple of degrees?

you set them up for peak power and they will run fine, just sound "lumpy"

newmans = 110 degrees on both cams

im not sure on cat cams tbh but they will have the installation instructions with them and will specify.

if you want a more smoother idle id recommend setting the exhaust cam at 110 and the inlet at 112 degrees

Awesome. Thanks buddy. I will have a play when I get them but wanted a rough idea what to aim for before fitting them so that's helpful info.

Cheers.

dont go too mad, playing around with them, i set my newman cams when unmapped to stock on the exhaust, and retarded the inlet cam about 1-2 degrees,

thanks
