(Not) Adam's Icelandic. New car required.
This 1st post gives a quick overview of progress of how the cars changed over the period ive owned it!!! Enjoy.
YEAR 1
ooooooooook, a little while after joinin this website ma car got broke into and the passanger side messed up do never reli got ne pictures up. anyways while its been getting sorted ive bought some stuff off people on here and osme av them wanted pictures when the stuff was on so now ive got my car back heres a few pics.
bit gay cus weathers been on and off so i gave it a quick wash while it was dry but then it went dull when i took some photos...
and some engine bayidge
Hadnt had the car long at this stage and id added;
the exhaust + manifold
smoked headlights and induction kit to the already,
lowered suspension, anthracite vts rims, tints and grille that had been done by previous owner.
Year 2
By this time id had a few normal saxo issues (power steering, knackered batteries) but nothing major so it was all good
Got great advise off here on cleaning the car and now its a pleasure cleaning takes no time at all and still looks mint.
Also had a chance to really make the car stand out that little bit by adding:
Rear splitter to tidy the 2 exhausts, blue rim tape on the 's' rims, zetec-s/lancer paint job on bumper, smoked fogs.
Then as summer came in year 2 i thought about some white wheels!
and managed to get these
really nice wheels but had problems with rubbing due to wrong tyre size and i was thinking of selling the car so started to think about the next owner's practicality. So this ended my little session of in your face modding.
Looked really touring car-ish at this stage mid summer
Had added the cobra buckets with harnesses and laguna splitter,
interior had nice dark grey cloth doorcards with components slotted in nicely.
Year 2 and a half
Winter was coming along and i started thinking of selling the saxo, thought about finance on a corsa VXR or pug 207 gti.
But i didnt really have the cash and as i started to remove bit and change the saxo round abit i started to just want to keep it as the look was really different. I thought that i could change the car back into a sellable state thats practical yet still individual and attractive.
During the change...
This is what i ended up with:
So the rear and front splitters had gone as i was back down on 15in rims and they made the car a tad too low and were quite a marmite mod.
The car was then sat on team dynamics monza R's like new from ebay that i thought id leave on for selling, but then id had too many other ideas of things to do!
Present!
So since id had second thoughts on selling i started turning the car back to something i could really enjoy the look of, but still in the back of my mind had the next owner in mind so made sure they were all really clean and nice changes...
Thought about some pro race 1.2's:
But then i got a offer i couldnt refuse on some really individual wheels!
Aswell as the alloys i did a few subtle changes, De-aerialed, Lowered 75mm at rear and after 2 years of using the website and it helping me and me helping other i thought it was time to get some SAX-P stickers to pay homage lol.
And that for now is how it is. Got a few more plans and ill get changes up at the other end of the progress thread!!!

looks so near perfect BUT dont like the spoiler and the wiper gives too much going on in the rear shot, would be perfect if you de-wipered and de-spoilered or put a standard mk2 one on.
