Default 8v alternator on 16v?

can you use the 8v altenator on the 16v engine and if so what brakets and belts would you use?

all the 8v bracketry goes straight on it

yea mate they are pritty much the same alternator, no fittings problems either.

im using a 1.4xsi alternator and lower pulley and seems to be at a bit of an angle....the last two times ive driven my car (was wet) ive had it come off and cause my car too stall...

might just use some washers see if i can space it out will let u know what happens
