Talking Fault Code Reader

Can anyone tell me which fault code reader i would need to buy for a 2001 saxo vtr?
And where on the car are they plugged into?

The garage want money to test this and these readers are about the same price so i thought i would just get a reader incase of future problems.

Thanks.

If youve got some decent money but a Snap On tester! Good bit of kit!

I would only use a snap-on hand held code reader but there 2k+ as most outher's are s*** and only pick up common code's.

Go to a garage and get it tested try loads of garages and you'll find some that wiil do it for a score.
