New Car
Just ordered my new car
Never thought I would own a Volvo at 22 but took a C30 R-Design for a test drive last week and really liked it so, so oredered 1 in white
Bad news is I got to wait 6 weeks for it
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/EDITORIA...30_small_1.jpg
Also, have an X reg 1.1 Desire with 110,000 miles on it, any ideas what I should expect for it / advertise it for? Its in good condition except milage. Garage only offered me £500 but thought I may be able to get a bit more for it selling it private, or is that a little optimistic?
Thanks

Wow man, I didn't expect much when I saw "Volvo", but that's actually really nice.
Old car's look tacky in white, but that's pristine.
Is that the actual one you're getting? With those alloys?
Cause that's really nice. =]

That's about right for a high mileage desire.

Probably about 700/800ish for the saxo. Stick it in the local paper and on autotrader.
How much was the volvo?

Volvo is pretty sweet! As above don't think much when you here volvo but nice! Your looking in the region of £650 to £800 for it I would say Ebay is probably your best bet or pistonheads.

ye the 1 in the pic is identical to the one I have ordered. Im having the 1.6 petrol. Would have loved the T5 but would never get insured on it.
Had it for £12k with the Ford voucher, saved me 4k.
Ye was hoping for around the £750 mark for the saxo so I could pay insurance off in 1 payment.

Like as in polishing and cleaning the interior heavily, It woudn't cost much but then you can gain the money back when it can add 100 quid on

Great looking cars, still not sure how these havent become massively popular. Must be all those exciting people who keep buying Golfs

lol I really like the shape on them. Dont think they've been advertised enough. Poeople still think "old man estate cars" when you think of Volvo. I know I did untill I seen the C30. more advertising I think they would have became quite popular
