Moving to Aus..
Basically next year when most of my mates go to university I am thinking of moving to Australia for a few years to stay with my relatives and to get some work out there and enjoy myself because i'm getting pretty fed up of England tbh. Just wondering if anyone here has moved out there or know of people who have?
Any comments appreciated, cheers.

My mates out in OZ at the moment. Only travelling mind but it sounds like he's having the best time ever. Apparently pay out there is really good. He managed to get a job straight away which pays around £600 a week! Not bad at all. He stayed in Sydney for a while and is going back there for new year. This is the beach he went to yesterday, in Queensland...

My cousin went last year for a year. Said where she stayed was full of drug addicts and there was no work whatsoever.
Still a nice place though.

Yeah that's what i'm hoping for, I want to move there and love everything about; nightlife, people, beaches, work etc, obviously nothing is perfect but sounds pretty insane from what people have said and I could seeing myself living out there, and being quarter Australian it would be nice.

Fair play to you mate I cant wait to get out this country either.
My brother and his girlfriend went out there to see if they liked it enough to live there and they loved it.
My mate also moved to Aus straight after college for a year, working any job he could get with some mates and says it was the best time of his life. Also got 4 mates just went out there in September and they're loving it.

I know loads of people who live out there. From my uncles parents to my sisters boyfriends brother.
Pay out there is really good, My sisters boyfriends brother used to be a armed policeman over here and he earned more washing windows for half a day over in Aus. He's in property development now.
Give it a go mate, you only live once.

I remember being told you need a set amount of ££££ in your bank before you can get a visa there?
Could be wrong though.

if youre a skilled worker like in the trade, they will rip your arm off to get you over there. things like builders / joiners / sparkies / bakers / hair dressers even! its all based on a points system so if you qualify then theres no problem getting visas. if you score just below then you need employer sponsorship or even your relatives could help you out.
i would do the move if i had someone i know to help out, but alas its not possible.
