What an excellent day this turned out to be...

I will very soon be compiling a proper report on saxperience and I would be VERY grateful if you could all supply me with your times and figures for your runs... <img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley2.gif">

I think you're 0-60 time was upped not by the fact u had 17's on simo but that bloody half a tank of fuel! <img src= "smileys/silly.gif">

Half a tank of country folk shitty unleaded...

I set off for brunters with a tank FULL of optimax.. but by the time I got there, the petrol light was almost on? <img src= "smileys/ponder.gif">

So had to fill up at some dodgy countryside petrol station.. <img src= "smileys/depressed.gif">

Dan, I think the brown trouser one is the one with the Aston Martin or whatever in... it doesnt look scary at all though in the clip.. Braking from about 120 to 60mph whilst going around a 90degree left hander felt a LOT worse than it looks. <img src= "smileys/fcuk.gif">

Come on then peeps.. post your times!!

I got...

0-60 = 6.08s, 6.08s, 6.10s

1/4 mile = 14.75s @ 97.54mph

0 - 100mph = 15.62s

Max spd = 131.66 mph

I bottled the max speed run as visions of bouncing the limiter in 5th and blowing a piston like Matt's were going through my mind.. <img src= "smileys/fcuk.gif">

I was dissapointed in my 1/4 time and 0-100mph.

You can see in the video of the speedo, that the car is very quick upto 90mph, but slows down a lot in 4th and 5th?? <img src= "smileys/ponder.gif"> Not sure why... could be less boost in top gears, or the fact that the 17's are hindering me??

I learnt a little for the next time though.. <img src= "smileys/smiley4.gif">

Times for B16Vts:-

0-60+ 6.08

0-100 = 13.24

1/4= 14.35

@t/s= 102.71

Top speed 139.2mph

Not bad for it's first outing, once we get the Avc-r working right those times are coming down!!!!!!

the silver 106 being mine went bang!! woopsies i was only in 4th aswell and hadnt hit the 6k and i got lots of smoke!! woopsies

i do believe it needs rebuilding now, gutted cos i wanted some serious fast times!!

all i ended up doing was breaking down at end of 2 mile straight and going home courtesy of the rac!!

next time.............just wait!!

well yeah, it was running so sweet aswell the previous night and all the way to brunters, pickup was amazing then after i did my first run radiator hose came off (sorry guys right on the start point!!) then it all went pair shaped, squint sorted it, did a few half laps and then i had a go think it went bang on my second lap out, never really had a play with it!!

gotta get it rebuilt now, see what other naughty things we can get done to it!

btw i aint got a flamer kit on my car yet, squint stalled it so prob just unburnt fuel when he restarted it

once its rebuilt ill be getting them 12's im after!! bout 6 weks and she should be back on the road i hope!!

gotta do 1000miles running in tho.......without any clocks!! i dunno how far ive gone!!
