Default My First vid with the 7d - Brands Hatch

Hi guys finally got round to editing some video footage i shot. i have learnt a few things from my first test.

1) use / get a decent tripod lol
2) get a decent pc (mine doesnt even have a seperate graphics card lol :eek so i may well have some better video but i got bored editing it as it was being so slow. took 3 hours to render a 3 min video :boring:
3) the distortion on the slow motion of the integra is ment to be there (its a plug in for adobe after effects called twitch)

http://www.8-bg.co.uk/video.html

right well with those in mind feel free to have a look
(when on my website either right click save target as on the image or click link for embedded version below it, file size is 120mb)

cheers
James

Nice vid, I like it, unable to comment on the sound though as not able to turn speakers on (dads up early!)

Can see what you mean about a tripod in some points, but for handheld a crackin effort with not much shake at all.

I like the editing on the grandstand towards the beginning where its grayscale but youve picked out the red that looks cool.

And you working on a PC?!?!?! Would have thought youd have had a Mac!

just had a look at that

quality looks really good! shame about the music though, couldnt judge sound quality from it.

Editing doesnt look too bad either, although its not something I know about.

cant be fucked to go on the video tonight.

Although I expect the IQ to be very good, what people forgot is that canon have been making very good video camera systems for many years, ALOT of this technology/info gained from this is in the new bodies with the video features, its why they are saying stills photography is getting changed massively.

Expect the prices of RED systems to come down a bit now to
