Yee it needs lowering. Have a look at Claire Halls car: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...=235283&page=8

Same size wheels as mine, but lowered.

The pro race 1.2's in 15" come in 7" width. You'd need to run 195/45/15 tyres on them.

Spacers... Don't really need them in my opinion, the width of the wheel fills the gapy nicely. If you want spacers, go for hubcentric ones which bolt onto the wheel hub.

Lowering, depends how low you want to go. I think 40 all around looks good, but thats personal opinion.

You want lowering springs for the front, and dampers for the back. Manufacturers such as SPAX do these in kit form, everything suplied for front and rear lowering.

Hope this helps.

You can lower the rear via the torsion bar, without changing/uprating the rear dampers. Many people have, but in my opinion, for the sake of a few quid I'd rather uprate the suspension, and I wouldn't be shortening the life by putting extra strain on stock stuff.

For the wheels, have a chat with user SaxoAL on here, I got mine through him, and he's a damn sound guy. If you do, tell him I recommended him to you

Dannyhall, Awesome looking car mate

SaxoAL (Alex) works for R-TEC. Brilliant people there, and he's really sound.

For example I got my wheels through him, for £499, balanced with tyres fitted, inc delivery, wheel bolts and locks

Oh, and they came the very next day
