Default Spraying a bonnet

Hi i had somebody reverse into me a few months ago and dented my bonnet , I spent ages trying to get a black replacement bonnet for a reasonable price, I fitted it about two weeks ago and today I was driving home and the bonnet flew open aand bent all the bonnet etc. Ive had a quick look on ebay and cannot find any black bonnets for a mk1 saxo. Does anybody know how wasy it is to buy a bonnet of any colour and spray it black . What is the process and how hard is it ?

Cost me £500 for new bonnet, new slam pannel and respray on both, so im guessing its at least £150 - £200 spray job.

I paid £250 to get two modified bumpers sprayed.

So i'm guessing you're looking at about £100-£150 to get it sprayed at a decent place with a spray booth.

Best bet is to ring around a couple places and get a few quotes. Most places will want to see the item before they take the job on though (but should still be able to give you an estimate of how much they'll charge).

always bare in mind that some colleges do live jobs and charge 10 pound per hour and a normal body shop will charge 30 - 40 pound an hour and the work is just as good but not in all cases!
