Default Ignition Coil and HT leads

I have been looking to replace my coilpack on my vts as its starting to fail. Have read a few different options likes of ford coilpack what you need to cut and join the plug wires and the older Saxo vtr coilpack whats a direct fit.
Reading on i find people use Vauxhall HT leads or Clio HT leads. what is my best option for HT leads and is this the Ignition coil i need to run?

I know a bracket will need to be made to hold the coil but thats not a problem.

why not just change for a normal vts coil pack? i think the upgrade to ford coil pack is for bike carb conversion

Wire in the standard vtr/1.1 ignition coil, and use whatever HT leads fit. He'll you could even make your own.

Ford zetec coilpack from a focus or mondy and the same leads can be used if you trim a little from the rubber. Can get the connector from rs supplies or eBay and then you just need to make a bracket.

All can be done with genuine ford gm parts for under £60

std vts coil is all i have ever used on any conversion --no need for anything else --seems a long for a short cut --to me and you end up with coil leads which ever car maker has got rid of as they make new models with coil on plug type units
