Remote central Locking - Saxperience

hi guys, i have just bought a new key fob case from blaire1988 (thanks mate

) and have transferred all the componants into the new one, is there a special sequence to re program these as its not been used for a long time, it is the original componants to this particular car, 2001 Y reg.

I have searched the site to no avail

hi mate dunno if your sorted but just looked on my dads autodata and for mk2 it says to resync remote to car

1. Unlock the vehicle using the Key.

2. Press the LOCK button 2 times within 20 seconds of unlocking the vehicle

ive tried it with mine and it does work good luck pal

Do you obviously take the key out of the lock first or not?

yeh u unlock vehicle using the key
remove the key from the barral lock
press lock button on remove 2 times within 20 seconds of unlocking the vehicle
