seats on their own will make no difference, you'll need to remove carpet, sound proofing, roof liner, rear door cards etc to have an effect. What mods have been done?

Have a look at Toad's GTI for a proper stripped car

top end versions £100-£200 ye but the cheap cone that sit next the engine are wank and will slow you down

i had a cone on my corsa took it off for a standard air box with a k&n panel filter much better as less engine heat getting in the engine

I have removed the seats, sound deadening, rear seat belts and rear door cards and it made no noticable difference.

The K&N Gen2 is a fantastic induction kit, £180 though

k & n with a decent cold feed, or away from places where it can soak heat, is still pretty good.

more surface area than a bmc or standard airbox setup

People that take out their back bench only for the benefit of saving weight...

It's only like a few KG, if that.

Though, not on the hating 'track car' bandwagon. I don't care if it goes on track, maybe you shouldn't call it that, but if that's the look people want to go for, then why not, as good as any.

But JUST the back bench a fail. You want to 'strip' it a little more than that to achieve at least a cosmetically 'stripped' look .

took out my rear seats to move a drum kit around. in a 1.1, it makes some difference, but not much. can imagine its not much cop in a bigger engine!
