K&N Gen 2 or standard box and panel filter?

opinions guys please.

cant make my mind up whether to save and get a K&N gen 2 or try modifying the standard airbox and putting a K&N panel filter in.

anyone any idea how you would modify the standard vtr airbox?

also, do the gen 2's sound nice. got standard exhaust with a peco 4" backbox and this sounds pretty nice as it is but obviously no induction roar.

Gen2 definetely, they are awsome

Sound good, look good, give a small gain. I think they are one of the best on the market tbh

If you get an airbox get the VTS one, theyre pretty well designed tbf so just inprove the air feed Induction will only give nosie with a very small if any gain over the panal filter from standard. Get a Green filter or something.

i am saving for the kn best kits money can buy can add any thing from 5-10 bhp

If you can justify spending that amount of money then go for it. Personally I'd just get an uprated panel filter and cold airfeed.

to get some gains like that id look into a new exhuast aswell as not all induction kits give mega gains but give slight gains but they free up the revs and feel alot better but you end up using more gogo juice as you boot it in second lol and have an induction grin hehe

Induction would probs give 2bhp at the most, and youve got a furio so expect nothing lol
