Default just wondering...

Right i plan to be in a full time job on relative money by end of year,
at 1st i was considering either getting a3 or 1 series bmw but tbh i've gone off idea of them, bit too executive lol.

But over the last few days i have completely fallen for my saxo again (went off it for a while due to it breaking, typical lol) So basically what i would like to know is what i would need to perhaps upgrade to a vts or vtr conversion next year?
Don't want to rush it and be left with no money so figure if i start with smaller jobs first then makes it easier to do next year.
I have a 1.1 2002 Desire - completely standard except for air filter.

What would i need?
Sorry if this has been asked a million times...
Thanks for any help

well obviously i would need new suspension and brakes minimum if i wanted to put a vtr/s engine in it.
So wondering if that is all i would need, or would i need other parts aswell that i could put on over the course of the next year?

As above, get a VTR/S as a car instead of all the hassle, its what i did and you can pick them up for arouns £1500-£2000 these days!

Get an Icelandic Grey one though
