Default The Future's Bright, The Furio's Orange?? Progress Report by Jam3s

Welcome fellow Sax offenders

First of all, Hey, I’m James. I’ve been on Sax-p for a couple of months now and I’ve finally got my ass into gear starting to make a progress report for my Furio. This is my first car and I bought it around 2 months ago. It’s done around 40k mileage and was a completely standard Furio with NO mods on it what so ever.

I’ve only recently started getting into modding up my car (mostly due to my brother) and I’m really enjoying it! I want to expand my knowledge and expertise on the subject as much as possible so any advice or points you want to make feel free too.
Here are a few pics of my car when I first bought him (minus a few wheels)

First of all I wanted to get it lowered. I bought some 40mm Spax springs off E-bay and got hold of 2 lads off Sax-p to help me lower it (I tried to budge the torsion bar myself but the sledge hammer didn’t quite pull it off). Big thanks to LEE_VTR1 and Willsy. These lads are very professional and seriously good in what they do. I highly recommend them if you want your Saxo lowering in the West Midlands area.

After this I felt that I needed to tint the back lights and side indicators black to give it a more stealthed feel. I also needed a sound system in my basement to try and annoy the neighbours as much as possible with ALOT of D&B and Dubstep

And this is the final version for my lights.

The badges needed doing next so I removed them off my car and got to work attacking them with the sander, primer, orange spray paint and lacquer. I’ve lost count of how many hours I’ve put into sanding these badges down to get them looking/feeling perfect.

And finally here is the finished product.

I got hold of a veryyyy tasty Powerflow exhaust off Ebay for 3 quid… yeah you heard right the first time. It sounds insanely nice and gives the car a nice growling sound (not too chavvy ).

I also got hold of some very tasty Orange VTR alloys quite cheap.

I also got hold of these stickers for free (only using the speed bump one as the other looks terrible)

This is everything I’ve managed to get done up til now. Here’s what my car looks like at the moment.

Progress completed:
40mm lowered – COMPLETE
Back badges re-sprayed – COMPLETE
Front grill re-sprayed – COMPLETE
Pioneer radio fitted – COMPLETE
VTR Alloys fitted – COMPLETE
De-wipered – COMPLETE
Back lights tint sprayed – COMPLETE
Removed Ariel – COMPLETE
Stickers/Saxperience added – COMPLETE
Powerflow exhaust fitted - COMPLETE

Thanks for reading!
Any suggestions, please speak up!

Tempted to go for the induction kit, but it's only a Furio so I'll probs just save my money until I get a bigger engine like a VTS, then invest in some engine mods
