Default Need a longer aerial????

Have the standard 6mm screw on 438mm long aerial on my saxo ATM. The trouble is, is that reception on my radio is shite. I've checked where I can on the net for a longer one but can't find any. Anyone know where I can get one or any other way of getting a better reception? \cheers.

Cheers mate. Just took the panel off to spray a different colour and the aerial cable going into the radio is fine.
