pull the gear knob off first, unclip gaitor at bottom, pull gaitor off and replace gear knob, then just one screw holds the console bit in its near the gearstick, remove the window switches and then take it off, you will be left wth the stick and knob and no hole in the car lol
maybe have to make a mount for the switches

gearknob furio
Hi Everyone,
sorry if this is really obvious - just wondered if anyone could tell me how to get the ridiculous yellow gear knob off my furio without just breaking it off?
ive tried just pulling really hard at it - but its pretty solid.
am i going to have to cut the plastic around it?

bit of guidence
Hi there guys.. i have been on this site a few times but never signed up.
i am having similar problems with my gear knob as i have a alloy one i want to replace the standard one with.
i have pulled it, used a hammer on it(hit it upwards), tried to unscrew it
after being unsuccessful, i begun to hack at it with my dads saw.... (lol)
just to save me some time, just wandering if anyone could tell me how they are actually taken off.
also how hard is it to place in a new gear stick(shaft i think it is)
please reply,,,,, i need help

right to get it off, put it 4th gear, get one leg over so you look like your going to sit in the rear seat, and give it an almighty tug, watch your head on the cieling tho, it comes off quite fast lol
