6k or 8k HIDs?
Got a choice of two just want opinions on both of these.. Is there much difference etc good points and bad points.

I'm thrilled that you've posted in the wrong section.
Anyway long story short..6K HID's are the brightest white you can have which is good if you want to keep the Police away, and keeps in line with an OE look.
8K HID's have a blue tint which is much more likely to get noticed by the Police.

just remember they are illegal to fit to a car that doesnt have auto levelling and washers on the lights
I know people will be ready to say that they have been through an MOT with them fine, but my friend had a nasty shunt in his car, the other driver reported being dazzled (which is true) and now as a result my friend is in big trouble with the law after they inspected the smashed up car

I got 10 k. An the look sweet. I haven't been pulled by the plod iv had them on for about 10 months now I just keep the diped towards the floor that way it doesn't dazzle any one

It's not about dazzling anyone when it comes to higher kelvin HID's. The headlights must not have any other colour tainting them, and at 10,000K there is a definite blue tint at night, with less usable white light.
