Wheel polishing
I need to get my wheels refurbed but want them polished insted of painted. I was just wondering if its more expensive to have them polished and also what sort of price am i looking at roughly?

Yes it will be more expensive........how much really depends on thw wheel.

Email the guy ar 1stclassalloys he may be able to give you a price, it isn;t cheap and it's a complete fucker to keep shiny

Would you advise it bickerton? I looks the bollocks but how hard is it to keep them shiny? Polish once, twice a week?

I have a set of bare alloy wheels.....they are hard to keep in good condition.
If i was you i would polish them up.......go over them with panel wipe and find a suitable clear lacquer to keep them protected.

pretty sure when i asked a while back someone said a cheaper atlernative was to have them dipped to look like polished chrome. but think it was painted chrome rather than bare metal.
please correct if i;m wayyyyyyy off it was a long time ago

I have polished wheels, I dont find them that bad to keep shiny tbh. I cleaned them once/twice a week when I washed the car, then sealed them with wheel sealent. I haven't needed to polish them yet, thy still look super shiny.
