Have any of you driven one? What are they like? Anyone know anyone
who owns one?

I am going to sell the focus soon, and I have been thinking about one of
these for my next car!

Cheap to run, good price, and imo they look fun. Plan to go and test
drive one at some point.

Opinions.

They seem pretty cheap for what you get, but not looked right into them
yet. I have glanced over autotrader and ebay, and they seem to be selling
for sensible money, low mileage, and they seem to have a decent spec.
Just a case of are they as slow as fcuk or are they ok?

LOL if you are going for a smart, get the Roadster Brabus, 100bhp, compares in performance and economy to a VTR (and before you say the economy of a VTR is shit I can easily get 40mpg out of kermit)
Either that or a C2 VTS, 0-60 in 8.1 secs, top speed 124mph (not that top speed matters on UK roads), aircon, and all the mod cons like anitlocking brakes. And you know what? Insurance group 8! 0.4 of a second slower than a Saxo VTS, and 6 insurance groups lower.

If you want economy + performance get a diesel, something like an Audi A3 or golf TDI. Then stick vegetable oil in your tank at £0.49p per litre

there was a lot wrong with that, the main one been it used to switch its self off when it likes and just shut down, i think it enjoyed doing it on the motorways the most
