Default Central Locking Problem

Hi Guys...
I have a 99 1.1vt Saxo.
Someone knocked in my front passenger window over halloween.
I got it fixed this morning by a local windscreen company, who were messy enough. Basically scraped the crap out of the door.

Anyway, now the central locking wont work.
The drivers door doesnt open at all.
The passenger door opens for half a second but then relocks itself.
So i have to unlock the car with the passenger door and very quickly jump in, and hop across to the drivers side.

On the drivers side, the key doesnt turn to the right. But it will turn back to the rear of the car. That never happened before.

The windscreen guys thought it was water getting in over the last few days. Does that make sense? It was the passenger glass that ws gone after all and it was decently covered with plastic. And now the drivers door seems to be broken...

Its awful, and im supposed to be selling it tomorrow.
Any advice on what to do now?
I've disconnected the battery and hoping a few hours off will reset itself
Thanks
John

Default central locking

Might be worth taking the door panels off and checking if the electrical plugs are still plugged into the electric servo unit that operates the lock.the window glass may have knocked a plug off.

Thanks!
Would damage to the passenger door affect the driver side, do you think?

I just looked at the locking mechanism on the passenger door there.
The outside handle doesnt seem to be connected to anything. There is a piece of gray plastic that runs from the top of the door to the middle/bottom and is very close to the inside of the door handle, but it is not connected to it at all.

Should these 2 be connected, and how do you connect them?

The drivers door wont open at all, which would make sense seeing as it thinks the passenger door is open.

Any idea's?
The car window ppl said they would send someone out but not til Monday... Im supposed to be selling this tomorrow!!!

Any help appreciated!
Thanks
John

Ps i couldnt find any electrical servo connections. Where/what exaclty am i looking for?

Hi Guys,
So i got it fixed anyway...
The locking bolt was stuck i think

But the external door handle is now goosed, so i'll need a new one.
I've rang about 20+ breakers so far, and no-one has one.

Can anyone here help?
I cant access the Wanted/For Sale section as i havent gotten 100 posts yet

Any help appreciated!
Thanks
John
