When was the first/last time you went camping? was it fun or a nightmare? tell us what happened?
My first time I went out with my Dad, bought a new tent and everything else I'd thought I need including camping airbed, but forgot one essential item...
We went to Corf (Corf Castle - South coast somewhere UK) went to a local food shop, I bought some spagetti in a tin, walked back to tent eagerly waiting to eat its contents... then I remembered, NO FUCKING CAN OPENER!!! , I spent nearly an hour trying to get it open with my pitching hammer!!
I hope I don't forget on the 6th next month for the night before Trax!! ?

I've only been once about 6 years ago on a school trip and it was an experience that put me off it for life. I froze, was starved, got ill, nearly drowned and woke up one morning in the middle of the football pitch after being dragged out the tent in my sleeping bag.
Oh and i had to sleep next to a fat girl who snored and kept trying to steal my blanket.... never again

Those sort of hoildays get borring though, My parents own two homes abroad, one in Mijhas, Costa Del Sol (Spain)(can sleep 6), the other Williamsburg Virginia (USA)(can sleep 12), both are 5 star gold crown (the american version of 5 star's put everyone else to shame!), with all the very best luxary's including DVD players, sky TV, gold taps etc etc.
The one in spain we have even our own private beach! - after you've been to them enough times it realy does get borring, so living with nature, living in strange surronding, with few luxarys realy is quite fun after all?
