lacquer
this might sound stupid but my vts alloys where re-furbished but dont really shine much could you just have them lacquered again cheers

Go back to where ever you got them done and get them to sort it out. If it's not right then they should repairs the damage.

what it is I swapped them with my old alloys as apparently they were done recently but are even staring to flake and I have no idea where they were done or by who..
is there a lacquer you can buy and do it your self? thanks

Yeah you can buy lacquer but I wouldn't go ahead and start re-lacquering them just yet. If it's just a dull finish you might be able to get away with wet-sanding and polishing, but then again it could be the actual clear coat failing.

if you do re laqure them make sure to give them a good wet flatting first, you want to get rid of most or all of the old laqure and give the clear a key to stick to
