Go to a motorfactors and tell them your reg plate and they will give you suitable spark plugs and oil filter.

Oil wize, 5w-40 fully synthetic is best. If you aint as critical about the care of the engine then 10w40 will do. 5 litres of this will do.

Gearbox oil i aint sure about, if you are doing that.

Fuel filter you may aswell get for like £4.

spark plugs NGKs at £15 a set will do.

Brake pads and discs although these may be fine, so id check these before buying.

Anything else?

Make sure you don't over fill the oil like almost everyone does!

Luckily my mate has the expert knowledge on that side of things, he has ramps and a full set up, but isnt a fully fledged mechanic.

yeah dont just put 3.5 ltrs in, chances are that when you drain the sump not all the oil will come out, so just put a couple of ltrs in and give it a bit of time and check the dip stick, and fill up in little bits until your at the rite level
