Default Induction Kit?

If i fit a decent kit towards the grill instead of at the back of the engine bay (im not that retarded) what benefits will i actually get? any reasons i shouldn't do it?

In theory it works but meerly an induction kit on a 1.4 you wont notice any difference where you put it. Also really depends on the type of induction kit, open cones suffer more than enclosed

Dont think therll be that much difference mate. Just put a cold air feed on it. As lewis said, use and eclosed one for best results. Or a heat sheild. U can use ur old air box but it looks abit gash so get a fabricated one. If ur really worried about doing it properly, ull get it re mapped afterwards which i doubt ull wanna do.

Replace your standard air filter with either a green cotton filter or a k+n just goes into the original air box gains though will be next to nothing.
