Default My Audi S3 300BHP Project ***Updates***

After owning nothing but Saxos since I started driving 5 years ago, decided it was time to move on! So I picked myself up an Audi S3 facelift on a 51 plate with the AMK engine.

Jabbasport used to own the car and from what they've told me, it has a full stainless milltek stainless exhaust, a stage 1 remap and is pushing 270bhp. I am getting it dyno'd there soon to confirm this!

Got it home stuck some newer aero blades on it, gave it a wash and took some pics!

I then set about upgrading the brakes!

They look dwarfed beneath the 19" wheels but they are 312mm

I then bought and fitted some pressed plates, audi s-line plate surrounds and smoked wind deflectors which ill get some pics up when I can after changing the air filter and having a route around, I came across this...

Any ideas what it is? I'm guessing its the recirculating valve?

Doesn't look like a re-circ valve to me looks like a dump valve
But may be wrong

Think it's the recirculation valve, typed in turbo dynamics into google and looks like the smaller recirculation valve opposed to the bigger noisy dump valve.

Hopefully get some pics this weekend with the wind deflectors and new plates

Thanks mate, well now I've got the brakes sorted its going to have a service and a dyno run and see what it's pushing. Future plans may include a front mount intercooler but I'm very happy with the power so just gonna enjoy it and keep it clean!

Looks good. I would remove the number plate surrounds and just have clean plates.
Too much going on with the Audi logos and Audi S Line etc.

Thanks mate agreed! Considered taking the audi rings off, but don't want to get carried away..although unlike a saxo they are stick on, so it's not the end of the world if I change my mind!

Yeah I was shocked how much just a de-wiper cleaned that rear end up. I personally preferred the OEM box as it looks cleaner in that engine bay. It's not like it's affecting power in any way, cone filters do naff all.

Tidy

Thanks mate, yeah definitely cleans it up!

On the contrary, due to the increased 80mm inlet size and built in velocity stack, these filters have been proven to increase power on the s3 by up to 10bhp!

I instantly felt a difference in noise, power and power delivery, I couldn't believe it from a £20 filter that Took 10 mins to fit!

Here's a thread on it:

Yeah think I will, the dewiper has made a mile of difference so don't need to debadge

Now debating on a set of black rs4 alloys in 18" or stick with the 19" RSTT alloys that are on it!

I'm not a massive fan of black wheels

Thos 19's look tidy but gd thing is there's so many epic wheels you can run with your fitment!

Few updates, replaced the worn buttons on the climate control, polished the rocker cover, new silicon pipes fitted and new led bulbs.

Red intercooler pipes to also come this weekend.

Pics
