Right decided to do a joint thread for both my cars.

Firstly, my pride & joy daily driver, had it for nearly 7 years now just cant bring myself to sell it, been through lots of different phases but this will be the last before it is returned to standard before selling.

Couple of quick pics of it in my work carpark

Will put spec up later.

Second Saxo is a Mk1 VTS, picked this up very cheap and intended to break it for spares (as you all know me for being a wheeler dealer on here) but on getting it back to my workshop decided it was far too good for that and decided to use it as a track car, baring in mind i have never driven on a track before this will be a whole new ball game to me so thought i would give it a try, below is how it looks as of last night with the cage trial fitted, still got loads to do before its track worthy but its getting there.

Have you stripped out the track car yourself? Looks like quite abit of progress

yeh with the help of my dad and uncle, its no where near totally stripped but its getting there.

got quite a few goodies waiting to go on like

omp lower brace
40mm lowered rear axle
possibly koni front setup (pending purchase soon)
supersprint mani
supersprint race centre section
piper outward rolled backbox
106 manual mirrors
few other bits and a suprise turning up at work very soon.

lol thanks ashley, only trial fitted need to get some brackets made up to weld in but should be alright.

whats the overall plan for the track car then?

what do you mean by overall plan?

enginewise will be staying relatively standard unless i really get in to it then i will start throwing some money at it.

just trying to get it relatively safe and light for the trackdays coming up in future.

only a beginner so not going all out on it just yet.

well just mean what level do you plan to take this car too with what spec..

i bet you'll find after one track day you will be ripping the car apart selling everything and starting from scratch again

its going to be a relatively cheap track car, i think the only think i will contemplate swapping is the suspension for something a little better.

other than that its only a bit of fun so should be a laugh.

new brakes will be coming but not sure on what yet, if something comes up cheap then i will consider it but wont otherwise lol.

yeh cant wait.

will be trailored everywhere and my dad and uncle will be coming with all the kit should it need any repairs.

will look up trackdays once its pretty much sorted tom.

just had a little surprise turn up at work.

15'' Comp Mo's Direct Fit, 2 with toyo t1s tyres & 2 with yokohama tyres, complete with centre caps.

anyone know which wheel bolts i require for these and where can i get a new set of centre caps for them as mine are slightly discoloured?

anyway pics below, will be getting refurbed in black or anthracite this week hopefully.
