what temp do engines reach basically need to know what paint to buy

Any engine enamel will be fine mate or a high temp primer and then any base coat.

i found some paint that went up to 120.c would that be ok or do i need more heat in the paint if you know what i mean

i think its quite high
i remember i used high temperature paint from halfrauds on my mini engine and laster really well, think that went up to like 500 degree's

yh i think it may be high but it was a metal enamel dont know if that makes a difference thats why im asking on here fort somebody may know

some one must know what temperature the engine reachs roughly (as in the block)

block doesn't actually get that hot that unless you run out of oil or water. 120 will be fine if you want to over kill go for the high temp enamel but you will be fine with any normal base coat over the top of some high temp primer.
