A nice roast always does the trick! Or Pork tenderloin, wrapped in bacon with roasties and some veg.
Shepherds pie/Cottage Pie easy to make and really tasty!

make a Lasagne...
always good to cook for some1, piece of piss, and gorgeous, as long as you make the tomato sauce from scratch the day before.
find many a recipe, and it takes no longer than 30-45 mins
good simple tomato sauce:
chopped onions in a pan with olive oil,
add garlic (lots)
brown off
add 2 cans of chopped tomato's (get the ones that are "with herbs" if you see them)
1 large glass of red wine
add some fresh chopped basil
season heavily
let that simmer away
leave over night for the flavours to blend
brown the beef steak mince off in a separate pan and add to the sauce once cooked.
then the rest is easy peasy for lasagne!

lasagne, mac & cheese
Great starter always wins multiple blow jobs & is piss easy....get a Camembert in a wooden case, put it in the oven for 30 mins or so till it's all melted & nice, then dip in chopped up roasted peppers / bread sticks.

chicken plat is easy to cook and looks cool as fuck if you can plat.
get some chicken and bacon and shread them into strips
fry it all off with onion and a and a little chopped tomatoes
then lay it on some redy rolled puff pastry then cut 3 strips of rolled puff pastry plat them and pay them over the top.
crimp the edges with a fork and bake on gas mark 6 for 15 mins
serve it with veg and a gravy of your choice (me and the gf like chicken gravy knoor)
and bobs ya uncle looks like you taken agers to cook it and only takes 30 mins and who doesnt like chicken.
