Are you guys for serious?

How is he a cunt because he gets paid alot of money? most rediculous thing on here today.

Yes LLoyds got bailed out so now they should hire people that dont know what they are doing and pay them fuck all? Suuuure that will help them get back to making big profits so they can repay us.

Just to recap in less words for you guys: Dont get upset because this guy earns more than you, i can garentee every single person on this forum if offered that wage would accept.

Actually just to have a moment of sanity, you're completely right. I would take that money, but in these circumstances I genuinely would find it hard to, especially knowing everyone would physically hate me. Fuck that. I'd rather stick with who I am and my own principles than take a ridiculously substantial amount of money and become a hate figure for life.
But think about it, this will be in a news for a few weeks fair enough, after that im sure most people will forget about him, i know i will.

Make up your mind, you taking the money or not? lol

Think of it like this...

Your at work and a rival company rings you and says how about you come work for us?. You: How much? Them: Circa 1m salary plus benefits... You gunna say no thanks ill carry on doing the same thing for less money?

I'd take the money without hesitation. Its not how much money you have but how you use it.

Also I hope people realise he gets taxed rather a lot of his wage.
You cannot blame the bankers for meeting their targets and getting paid for it. The previous government fucked up the buyout and did nothing to cap bonuses to help claw back the money quicker. Most likely under law they would not have been able to alter contracts anyway.
Most banks are moving back into profit and the people getting bonuses are the ones that have been successful and have met targets. They need to so the government can make a good return on its investment as quickly as possible. Rather than knocking the banks we have to support the devil as there is not enough divergence of successful business outside the banking industry in the UK to make money from.
