How do people rate them? Hows the sound compared to a magnex?
I'm bored to death of seeing people with magnex and want something different.

Nicer than the magnex? I've seen one that fits a furio, 3.5" at 153£ (not inc P+P), do they drone? I just want something that has an awesome sound, but doesn't drone on motorways.

I have a Scorpion Backbox with a standard centre section and de-cat which sounds quite raspy rather than loud. Its not BURR but RING!!!!!
And it backfires all the time too. Its not droney either. But I think its leaking a bit now!

Dom's exhaust sounded sweet, it was reasonably quiet whilst idling, but when he gave it a bit of welly it sounded very nice! a nice deep sports tone...
I've just ordered myself a piper exhaust... they are different to magnex's and are meant to be slightly louder.. just another brand you could consider..
Thanks
Alex

Was that a full system of backbox? Thats the kind of thing I'm looking for. I have a 4.5inch monster at the moment, that is ultra loud and is starting annoy me now, I know I'll most likely miss is loudness, but I wouldn't mind something a little less droney.
Cheers for the help lads.

I've just won a full scorpian system off Ebay so when i get it fitted I'll get some video's posted.
It'll be fitted with my decat & Raceland 4-2-1 Manifold so I'm hoping for a decent soundtrack.

This is the system that dom was running on his vts engine conversioned vtr...
http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34604
It did sound truly amazing!
I just bought a backbox for mine, i will see how loud it is and i am now insured to do any exhaust/manifold mods so i will consider removing silencer box and/or decat depending on how it sounds...

Yes mate, some mark 2's the vt* models have the catalytic convertor in the manifold, rather than under the car... that's the only difference...
