Default RickVTR - Posi Blue Mk2 VTR OEM+

After owning all the high powered cars in the past ive decided to get something smaller with a small engine. Decided to get myself a VTR based on the cheap to run and good handling nature.

heres some pics and a few mods that ive done a long the way.

This is how she was when i bought her.

Then i gave it a polish and sorted out under the bonnet. Also fully undersealed underneath and all arches.

got a Sparco strut brace but want to change it for the OMP one.

Next im looking at a bit of colour coding but unsure of the colour...thinking gunmetal....yellow always suits though! Going to get her lowered about 30mm front and back too.

Spent the last few nights doing a few bits. Sorry for the pictures but its dark by the time i finish!

Well i started by giving the car its first claying and from the state of the entire clay bar, it definitely needed it!

Got round to doing my indicators.....might go darker yet but im liking the darker look!

thats it for this week but at weeked im going to get colour coding under the bonnet!

ive repainted my front panel just to get rid of the rust spots and been around the car filling the stone chips in! very pleased with the colour match i got and its almost made all marks on my car disappear!

Ill just post some pics rather than chat away!

seriously.....i hate the alloy look.....makes it look like those really poor "alloy" stickers you get on the vauxhalls.

been meaning to find out if i buy a normal blue one can i change the key barrels over so i dont have to have seperate key?

well i managed to get some time to work on the car so i gave her a well deserved wax and did a few subtle mods like black badges on the boot....the addition of paedo bear......and oiled up my creaky sunroof. oh changed my dust caps too but im guessing they wont be on for long even though they do have securing screws on

got myself a pipercross viper induction kit coming this week and ive just bought a sub for the boot....something small though as i still need my boot space!

anyway a couple of pics

oh it has its marks but only slight.....mine suffers with some quite bad stone chips....need a front end respray to get mint i think.

i know im not too old for modding just certain things are for the younger guys i think.......saying that i do now sport a bear in my rear window and dice on the wheels!

thanks for the comments. next mods to come are a set of tyres, black vtr wheels, lowered 35mm all round and then my induction kit. might get my rear windows tinted too
