got my jp4 vts mapped on monday 163.9bhp...
as said, i took my car to wayne at chipwizards on monday to get it mapped, got a printout of 163.9bhp.
put a pic of the rr printout on facebook and few people moaning that it couldnt of got that much power and that his rollers are out?
my engine spec is:
tu5jp4 engine with 21k
p&p head
c2 newman ph3 cams
newman valve springs
p&p throttlebody
4-2-1 manifold
supersprint race system with decat
k&n gen 2 induction kit
think there just abit jelouse i got good power or is that too high, my mate got his cammed 106 mapped half a hour before me and got 153.4 so if they were out wouldnt his be high aswell?

get it on next sat mate, £35 and youll know the figures for a fact,
defo worth another set of rollers as these are pretty damn accurate, then if its the right figures youll be able to laugh at them all
as said before long as it drives good thats all that matters, but still nice to have 2 sets of figures from dif rollers to badck up any claims in your mind

Any torque figures.... Always take It with a pinch of salt.
Would say more 150 -155 bhp range. If it goes well then it all goOd.

do you? leeroy is coming, maybe you could meet up with him, hes in stanley
and yeah although i shouldnt really as its not gonna make anything worth writing hime about, the map needs tweaking as the induction i have on is restricting badly and has sapped all the torque
skint myslef. i had to fork out for insurance on the 3rd..was hefty now its turbo'd lol, wasnt expecting it till sept mustnt have been pauying too much attention, got tax next week, and mot on the 14th

this RR day gives two graphs, one with wheel figure and AFR's, and one with fly figure and torque

old set up on 10psi made 163.?bhp and 162lbft of torque, it had no airfilter lol, which made it suck hot air straigth off turbo mani and run pretty hot, especially in traffic..not ideal or safe for the turbo
i put new exhasut on, which isnt the best and may be sapping some of the power slightly, but is good sytem for now
and put new induction on, was booked in for mapping next day so tried to fit filter night before.. and because of the turbo angle couldnt get it on, so i had to make a pipe using the elbow the kid i bought turbo kit of had, at a guess the elbow is 2" and the turbo intake is 3" or so, so its restricted to fuck tyring to suck air past that from one of those corrugated tubes to the filter behind the bumper,
we mapped it and upped the boost with new bits on and it did make it a bit quicker, but nothing for what it should, and appears to have lost alot of torque..may just be me but lee thinks so aswell?
im guesisng this is a major contributor, so im binning filter altogether, getting some proper hard boost pipe and silcone elbows, and ducting a force feed straight from where the inner morette is now, with some s/s fine mesh as filter, but itll need a map tweak for that, and my mapper is on hol
still gonna get it on though...
