VTS Conversion... 2348234th one?
Ok so I'm getting annoyed and confused about reading all this crossover loom shit, so am hoping to have some light shed on me.
What is the full list of things needed for a VTS conversion, from an early 2000 VTR (single plug ECU)?
Ideally a 2000 VTS would be the engine to go for, but my car being the early single plug, does that mean that a MK1 VTS engine will fit straight in?
Is there a full informative guide or anything on here? As it's incredibly annoying having to scrape bits of information from several threads, putting it together and then having certain bits not match
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

engine, ecu and loom. i am just using my 1.1 box til i get my ax gti one refurbed. the things i have had to buy for the engine because it either didnt have or i would need are: 16v radiator, fan, throttle body, throttle cable, crank sensor and exhaust gasket. i am using the starter and alternator off my 1.1. and i also already have a fuel return on my car. got a 4 branch thats going on and a lightened fly wheel. oh and i need some shiney rocker cover bolts to go with the polished covers

yes the gti loom i had was slightly different. but my mate was scrapping his mk1 vts so we used it as a donor car. got the ecu, loom and a few other parts. the only other minor problem was on the first run out it blew a hole in the backbox
