Default 2000, 3 Plug Vtr - 16v conversion

Finally trying to get around an do the conversion on this as i've been toying with it for so long.

With the ecu below, is it a x-reg vts/gti with a three plug that i need to get the engine from for it to be plug'n'play?

You will need a 3 plug vts engine and ecu mate, preferably from a vts/gti same reg/year as your car. I have a 3 plug loom and ECU for sale which could be a start

Im hoping to buy a whole donor car tbh just so i can rip the engine out then put it straight into this one.

I wouldnt have an issue say if i was to buy an 02 plate 3 plug vts/gti then?

thanks for the offer though

That's probably the easiest way to do it mate.

What reg is your car? You could have an issue if you have a crossover car.

Get a 3 plug vts/gti and do it. The worse that could happen is the car will run but your clocks won't work but if you send your VTR loom and 3 plug VTS loom to ryanmt on here he can make you a plug and play loom.

How can he drive it if both looms are sent off to Ryan for splicing?

But yeah the easiest option is to get the exact same reg/year car and use all that, but as mentioned Ryanmt can convert looms.

Buy a extra 3 plug vts loom I had the 3 plug vts loom running and bought myself a single plug vts loom and sent it to Ryan for splicing as the 3 plug set up is shit and single plug responds better to mods!

So what are you running?
Single plug engine, single plug ECU, single plug engine loom to 3 plug interior loom?
