Still got fuel trim bank 1 any advice got no sensor for the cat would this not help? Still cutting out when you stop and I have seen oil leaking out from the oil cap.

Sorry whats going on? Oil being blown from the oil cap suggests pressurisation of the crank case

Either excess oil in your engine a crack
ed/split breather hose or an internal engine fault would cause the oil spurting out.

+ try this for the fuel trim bank.

As the engine had lots of new parts thinner oil was put in might just need new oil cap what a fuck on might just get rid

this is what i was told from OBD

MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) Illumination
Start and stall
Poor fuel economy
Black smoke at tailpipe
Hesitation/misfire at idle or under load

Causes

Potential causes include a vacuum leak, unmetered air leaks Fuel saturated engine oil Leak in turbo air charge hoses (if equipped) Possibly bad O2 sensor (If Mercedes, may require adaptation with M-Benz compatible scan tool.) Oil contamination in MAF connector or O2 sensor connectors. Also check ignition coils, cam and crank sensors, and oil sensor for leakage contributing to oil intrusion in wiring harness. Defective MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor (especially on Mercedez-Benz and other European autos. There are a lot of problems with aftermarket MAF sensors.) Defective fuel pressure regulator Leaking camshaft adjuster solenoids (Mercedes-Benz).

NOTE: for some Mercedes-Benz models there is a service recall for a crankcase vent hose located under the intake manifold. It should be checked for leaks/cracking and also operation of check valve in the hose. The check valve should flow only one way.

just had a look at the dip stick and its way over the max mark would this fuck the car up going to dump it tomorrow thats why oil is coming out the oil cap its only done 67 miles

Yes your engine will leak oil if it`s overfilled.

From the pictures in your other thread, you have the wrong oil cap. One of these is what you want.

Sounds like you need a new pre-cat lambda sensor.

After spending the amount of money you`ve spent on the car I wouldn`t be dumping it.

thats what i thought but did see other car engine with the same 1 as mine will get that 1 thanks

Just sick of spending money on the car and its not any better the clutch is getting worse

Get a used lambda sensor to get the car running properly,then when you`ve got the cash get a new one.As regards the clutch(if it was you)that did the engine swap then you should be able to whip the gearbox out & change the clutch yourself.Trust me if you`d seen the amount i`ve spent mechanics wise on my saxo you`d keel over lol.

The clutch is new I did not do the engine swap some 1 else did it, it gets stuck in reverse? Got another gear box of my VTR and that runs good. Going down on Monday to get a new lambda then I no it will work did a bit more reading and it sounds like the front lambda sensor and It’s going through the fuel to fast

You`ll soon know with the lambda sensor,because when you remove it,it will be sooty black in colour(if it`s overfuelling)

Do you run some form of quickshift? Might be worth adjusting it, if you can.

Yes I do have 1 going back to the standard 1 see if that’s any better
