Default Few quick questions

I have a 1.1 saxo desire and want to make it quicker, as does everyone :') I want to be as cheap about it as possible and yet, still do everything I can, because obviously I will just lose money if I spend loads on this car and then scrap it in a few months for a bigger one..

So far I've got on my list:
> a K&N 57i induction kit
> new spark plugs (every little bit of power helps)
> Ignition leads (same as above)

I know there are so many other things but my mind has gone blank can someone help me out, places to find your ideas would be awesome too! Also I am thinking about getting one of those ECU chips that go in the back of your accelerator pedal or something, which adds speed, anyone know what I mean?! Any ideas what they are called or where to get them from?!

All ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated guys!!

Lmao, do not get one of those ebay chips mate, they do more bad than good.
I'd say for a 1.1, just stick to suspension mods, they're the mods i appreciated the most, and if you think logically, they've made the car alot faster (twisties/corners). Spend your money on some quality springs and dampers, and get it lowered.

Much better than engine mods on a 1.1 in my opinion.

Edit- Just noticed my mega bump lol, was looking through the users published threads, i should know better lol
