at jackson's coachworks (near me) a proper body shop ect it cost £275 for them to spray a bmw bonnet
just for a rough idea if you preped it ect then your costs are reduced.

Get what you pay for really, you could get it done cheap and end up with bits flaking off it after 6 months so worth having a look around and definately get them to show you some work they have done previously so you know what standard of work to expect.

as above. have a look at the job that were on my saxo (see progress thread)
i havn't added up how much the paint cost but it'd be around £300-400 and thats at trade price (did put a fair few coats on tho) and that were my dad doing it. but look at the finish. you won't get much change out of £800 + from a body shop unless you can get them to do it on down time so it'll be chaper
