Default Back axel

Hey
My saxo has play on the passenger side rear wheel but not the one on the drivers side, it makes a clunk when i go over speed bumps as well and you can see when you jack it up it is rubbing on the inside wheel arch as it has left a big clean mark on the dirty inside. It dose sound like i need a reconditioned back axel from what i have seen on this but it got done 2 years ago and as i say the wheel on the other side is totally fine just wondering if anyone could shed some light on what this could be and what its going to cost?
thanks

Pretty sure its gonna be the axle, was it replaced with a reconditioned one last time or just a used one?

Not sure it was before i got the car but i have the receipt and it says the part was £300 and i got told it was a reconditioned one when i bought it, so can it be gubbed even though its just one side?
Thanks

Yeah it can be one side there is a bearing each side of the axle, have you checked the wheel bearings for play? although i doubt the bearing would make it lean that much.
