Found a scrap vtr..
Found a crashed vtr not fat from me, front end damaged.. He wants £350.. He said it's lowered 80mm.... Looks more like 40 but.. If I bought it could I just swap the springs with mine to lower mine .. Sell his vtr wheels and ten take off anything useful and just weight it in..? Not sure how heavy vtr's are so what would I get..
Cause I want mine lowering but that's around £160 ish.. Just wondering if I'd save money or not

Seems pricey for a bailed ride! Need some pictures really. As for the axel unless he has proof its a 'new' axel I wouldn't believe him.

Could sell the axle, wheels and engine for more than £350 if they are in decent condition but then you have to get the shell towed.
If you are just going to swap the wheels out and not bother with the rest then you will not make back the £350 to spent on buying it.

I don't want the wheels, I was thinking about swapping the springs.. As I doubt they will be damaged as Itsnot to bad damaged.. May be better idea to just leave it then .. Was just it's same year n colour as mine so good for spares

Looks ok condition but as said unless you fully break the car you won't make your money back on it. I'd try and get him down to between 150-250 as in that state its not really worth anymore than scrap.

Yeah I said 200 to him 1st thing, cause then I can't loose money and I can lower my car for free..instead of paying £160 to lower it, if he goes lower then I got nothing to loose as I'd make money just by selling wheels ..

you'll probs get around £90 scrap as prices have dropped massively.
also selling the parts are a ball ach worth doing if you can get rid.
however if it's alrerady lowered swap the whole strut + axel for yours.

Yeah I'd do that for the engine n parts then lol,
But 200 is reasonable price and would make my money back and get few new parts for free lol.
