Bike carbs....
I've seen a few saxo's locally with bike carbs, anybody know what you need for this conversion and if its actually worth it?

You would need
- The carbs
- Custom made inlet manifold
- Bigger fuel injectors OR
- Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
- Uprated ecu
- Have it all remapped to run properly
I might have missed one or two things but that will be most of it
Is it worth it? In my opinion, definitely not unless it's a vts, still if it's on a vts and set up properly, they will only add about 30bhp, but will cost around £1000 + labour costs

Why would you want bigger injectors with carbs?
Also 30bhp gain is dream land.

I was just curious if it was actually worth it- I've seen a few floating about and just toying with ideas. For that sort of money, I don't think its worth it at all though!

According to numerous chip wizard rolling roads, they add 4-7bhp on a cammed (ph3/708) Vts.
