for a 2000 1.1i. which airfilter and which backboxe would u recomend for performance, sound and quality?? i was thinking about a K&N57i plus a Peco Backbox?



any help greaetly appricated,

Peco do good value back boxes, but they sometimes to sound naff.. and very loud!



With the filters, to be honest the performance gains are all much the same. K&N are a good all rounder, Pipercross tend to give more noise, but a little less performance. Green filters are also good all rounders.



You're probably best considering what will look right on your car...

I would suggest Green because you'll have to do less pissing around to get the thing running.



I had to make a custom air feed incorporating the air temp sensor to get my old 1.1i to run properly and it did affect the fuel mileage slightly.
