Default overheating problem

Replaced thermostat, took rad off and flushed through, its not blocked. Car interior gets hot so its not the heater matrix. The bottom lower left radiator hose doesnt get hot but the top right one does.
Will this be the waterpump? I cant see no signs of it being the headgasket via gunk on the head, or white exhasut smoke.
How do you know when the water pump's gone?

Many thanks

could be an air lock mate.
when was the cambelt last replaced? if you have no history of it being done then i'd get it done with the water pump just to be on the safe side.
