not strictly true
The DOT rating is a minimum standard - nothing else.
Some brands will match these figures, others will have far better boiling points.
For example. We sell the
CL Brakes Racing Brake Fluid and its rated as DOT 4, but its one of the best brake fluids on the market currently.
Castrol SRF is even better for wet boiling point (dry boiling point is lower than CL Brakes) but its silly expensive.
