Got my hands on a supra, always wanted one of these and had my specific criteria that it had to meet.
Had to be:
- Jap import
- Black
- Facelift
- Twin turbo
- 6 speed
- BPU (basic performance upgrade)
Searching for 3 months and it seemed that i would not get what i wanted on my budget. In the 3 months i had been looking only 2 came up of interest. The first was gone within 3 days of being up for sale. The other was still in Japan, speaking to import companies about it, they sent someone to check out the car for me.
Came back to me with a good car but does have firewall damage. Decided that if i was going to be paying nearly 10k for this car and it been damaged wasnt what i wanted, so decied against it.
Then the next one came up for sale, three people interested in the car as soon as it went up for sale. Me being one. I was second in queue but i begged the bloke if i could have first look and he let me.
Went to look at the car and was in fantastic condition and i bought it there and then.
