Default Bumper problems

my frnt bumper on my mk2 saxo doesnt fit....the last owner said it was off of a mk1, but after pulling the front diffuser off today i realised its a mk2 bumper, but it sticks out about 1 inch so it looks shit, because it doesnt match up with the body work this makes me very confused, plus the head light under brow is siking out a bit too but i can fix that, its just this bumper.....i need to see another mk2 saxo and see how thiers is fitted, can anyone take pictures of thier engine bays and where its connected please?

cheers andy

have you got the bumper lined up with all the holes, as the bumper has a phew little lugs on the sides, and 2 big white clips at the front these need to be lined up or it won't sit proply

thing is you can't get that one to sit flush, so you might have same prob with new one

looks to me as if something is stopping it going back

did you take the trim off under head lights and put the two 10mm bolts in/

I would take it off check it, make sure you have the white brackets lined up proply, as they need to slot into the 2 holes in the bumper, just have a fiddle about with it
