Hi all,
I'll have one of these kits on my car soon. I just wondered if any of you know much regarding the law about these, or have any runnings in with the old bill due to neons?
Cheers

its a bit sketchy but the last i heard it is illegal to have neons on will the car is on the move but if parked and stationary they are illegal. Go to page 2 of general chat and look at the neon washer jets thread there is more info in there

they are legal.....as long as the car is off-road, stationary, and you cannot see the bulbs.
Least, thats what I heard, I still drive around with them on.....

lol this statement is from a bournemouth police chief, in an interview he was asked about the law on neons..
basically they are legal, providing you cannot see the tube's from other road users perspective, and you must not have white light at the back or red light at the front.. thats how it stands.. but if a cop asks you to turn them off your obliged to do so..
