Default Different tyre size front and rear

Hi all

Quick question. I bought some second hand vtr alloys. Two tyres are 185x55xr14 and two are 185x65xr14.

Can i use the two bigger ones at the back and the smaller ones at the front, or is this going to be a problem?

All the tyres are good and legal, so would be good if i could use them

Cheers

Try fitting them make sure they don't rub on the back, perfectly legal as long as tyres are the same size per axle

never used the 185 64 14s on a saxo so not 100% sure if there will be a problem. The car will be slightly more raised at the end you use the 185 65 14s, not a great deal though. if you put them on the front may cause rubbing while turning, may be best to get another 2 185 55 14s as there the standard size for the vtr wheels

the person who had them last may have used the bigger wheels at the front and smaller at the back, it may have stopped rubbing depend how low he had his rear. thats the 1st thing i thought of
