Default Workout Advice

Hi all,

recently over the last few weeks I have been doing some dumb-bells weights, sit ups and push ups in an attempt to get to a decent enough level I can join a gym and get absaloutely ripped as fuck. Without looking like a dweeb.

lol, can feel the results already.

So, I started off on .. wait for this, 7Kg dumbbells

And now I'm on 9

I find 9 hard so am staying on them. I do like 3 sets of 10 reps on each arm.

I'm wondering if anyone could give me some advice really, on what exercises to do and stuff.

I've recently been given a long bar so could potentially do some bench pressing

How many sit ups should I be aiming for in a workout? I just go till it hurts in different sets, probably about 70 altogether.

Also like whats a good regime? I've just been giving myself a day to recover, then going again.

Any advice greatly appreciated,

Much love,

Massive n00b.

Pressups, pullups, dips on your couch, bicep curls, hammer curls, squats, overhead presses, upright rows, put them on a lighter weight and punch with them, go up and down on your toes while holding them (will work your calfs) roll them with your wrists for your forarms etc

Other than that just google, sooooo many things you can do with bodyweight and some dumbbells tbh

Nice one mate.

Yeah had some scaffolding on the house and I made the most of it doing pull ups all the time haha. Would love a permanent bar!

I used to have one of them when I was about 16 haha! And it made dents in my doorway. Parents weren't pleased so I took it back hahhahaa
